Storage-Only Refund Terms

These Storage-Only Refund Terms apply exclusively to storage and warehousing services offered by Movevista. This policy does not apply to packing or moving services.

By booking storage services with Movevista, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Storage Booking & Payment

• Storage services are booked for a minimum agreed tenure (monthly, quarterly, or yearly).

• Payment may be collected in advance or on a recurring basis as agreed during booking.

• Storage space is reserved specifically for the customer; hence, certain charges are non-refundable.

3. Storage Cancellation Before Start Date

• More than 48 hours before storage start date:
  ✔ Refund eligible after deduction of administrative and documentation charges.

• Less than 48 hours before storage start date:
  ❌ No refund applicable, as space allocation and preparation are already completed.

4. Early Termination of Storage

• If the customer decides to vacate the storage before the agreed tenure ends, refunds are not guaranteed.

• Any refund, if approved, will be calculated on a pro-rata basis after deducting:

  • Handling charges

  • Warehouse maintenance charges

  • Administrative fees

5. Non-Refundable Storage Charges

The following charges are non-refundable:

• Initial handling and loading/unloading charges

• Packing charges (if provided)

• Documentation and inventory management charges

• Security and facility maintenance charges

6. Delayed Vacating of Storage

• If stored goods are not removed after the agreed storage period, additional storage charges will apply.

• No refunds will be provided for extended storage caused by customer delay.

7. Damage, Loss & Refund Eligibility

• Refunds are not applicable for minor wear and tear during storage.

• Movevista is not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Natural disasters

  • Fire, flood, or force majeure events

  • Improper packing done by the customer

• Any damage-related concerns must be reported within 24 hours of goods retrieval.

8. Abandoned Goods Policy

• If storage payments remain unpaid for an extended period, Movevista reserves the right to treat the goods as abandoned after due notice.

• In such cases, no refunds shall be applicable.

9. Force Majeure

Movevista shall not be liable for refunds due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

• Natural calamities

• Government restrictions

• Strikes, accidents, or emergencies

10. Refund Processing Timeline

• Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days.

• Refunds will be credited to the original payment method only.

• Payment gateway or bank charges, if any, are non-refundable.

12. Policy Modification

Movevista reserves the right to amend or update these Storage-Only Refund Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon publication on the website.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
